How Does Invisalign Work

Your Invisalign treatment will begin with a thorough consultation with Dr. B. During your consultation, you and Dr. B will discuss your cosmetic goals, asses the condition of your teeth, and determine if your crooked teeth are caused by an underlying dental concern. Our goal at Sudbury Dental Arts is to help patients building a stable foundation to support long-term oral health.

Dr. B will take digital images of the teeth and jaw, and send them to an Invisalign lab for the fabrication of your custom made aligners. Once your aligners trays are fabricated, Dr. B will check the fit to ensure that fit comfortably and firmly over your teeth.

The length of your treatment will depend on the severity of your orthodontic issues. Ideally, patients should wear their aligner for at least 22 hours a day. Patients can enjoy the benefit of removing their aligner to eat, drink, and perform their daily oral hygiene routine.
